FB Restrictions

Hello! It's been so long since I've blogged this may be interesting. I keep getting restrictions on my profile due to bots flagging and removing my posts. Even tho I appeal them and they get reinstated the restrictions remain; so in order to avoid getting my account shut down on FB I am starting up a blog and gallery here on my website so that I may still be able to share my work. This is going to take a while to get everything posted and up and also maintaining a consistent posting schedule, something I am not very good at. For now I will try to make a blog post once a month, if I have more to say or share then you get more. For now let's just start with a good introduction.

Hi! I am Kaitlin and I am the photographer at Express Yourself Boudoir. I started my photography journey in 2012 with boudoir and pin-up being my focus from the very start. I was moved by the beauty of the images and my rebel slide was slightly piqued by the taboo around it (thought that was getting better but guess not). As I continued my journey in this genre I found that I really disliked doing family portraits because they didn't create the same emotions that were created with boudoir. So through time I niched my business to boudoir portraits, individuality/expressive portraits, and personal branding. This is where I thrive and grow and create beautiful imagery. This is where I get to see clients see themselves in a new light. I've seen many beautiful clients cry after an image reveal because they never saw themselves that way and that feeling is incredible. I love to create that for my clients. I love to bring out emotion and make everyone feel beautiful, sexy, and most of all confident in who they are. I do this because I love empowering those who have never had the opportunity to do so. This is my calling in life and I am going to continue to do it, no matter how many hoops I have to jump through.
